Islensk is run by the talented Hugr\u00fan \u00cdvarsd\u00f3ttir.<\/span><\/p>

Hugr\u00fan has a exhibition and display design degree from Dupont Danmarks dekoratorfagskole. She has years of experience in the field as-well as in product design.<\/span> From a young age, Hugr\u00fan has been interested in horses. This can be seen in the design of her products as well as a strong connection to her Icelandic heritage and history. <\/span>She lives with her family in Akureyri, Iceland in a house that has been in her family for generations. From there she runs her business and welcomes her customers in her store which is located in a gorgeous old warehouse on the lot.<\/span><\/p>
